About
the Author
Barbara
Wyvill has
taught in both primary and secondary schools. For many years, she
was a teacher trainer in both local authority and university contexts.
She has conducted several evaluations of drug education in schools,
and has assisted with drug policy development in London local authorities.
With Richard Ives, she is co-author of Volatile Issues - a drug education
resource for schools about volatile substances.
About the Editor
Richard Ives has
considerable experience of drug education gained through writing,
consultancy, needs assessments, evaluation in the UK and overseas.
He assisted the Czech Ministry of Education in developing national
guidelines for drug education. With Barbara Wyvill, and in consultation
with staff in the Borough, he developed drug policy guidelines for
the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. He is co-author of Let's
Find Out About Drugs Together.
